LECTURE “GROWING WITH CULTURE
The value of Art and the games in early childhood

Collective lecture that opens the Festival, showing reflections and international and local experiences in which early childhood is linked to the arts in different school, family and cultural contexts.

Createctura project founded by Irene Fernández will raise the potential of artistic languages in relation to learning spaces, using an approach based on sustainable development, respect for neurodiversity and the vindication of the importance of creativity and play.

The IkHezi research group of the UPV – Education and Sports Faculty through Ainhoa Gómez Pintado, will take us into a research project around the inhabited facilities created by Teatro Paraíso for interaction with the families of the EEIIMM of the city.

The Municipal Network of Vitoria-Gasteiz Children’s Schools invites us to discover, through a small photographic exhibition, about the facilities created by educators over the last few years.

Teatro Paraíso as a host organization and promoter of the link between the entities present, will contextualize the projects and lead the dialogue with the public.

Invitations are collected in the children’s section on the first floor, until full capacity is reached (ccuinfantil@araba.eus).
An invitation to families to develop imaginative and creative game. Boxes are a universal playing element, allowing children the freedom to explore, experiment, transform, create, imagine, dream, and share.

SCHEDULE: before and after the organized activities.

This exhibition brings together the creations of 38 artists from 15 countries and is part of the European MAPPING project. It has been created by “Bologna Children’s Book Fair (Italy), a partner of the project.
The images show the emotions of the young viewers at the moment, at the instant of scenic observation, while capturing quality images, sounds and words that nourish their imaginations.

A GARDEN OF PICTURES

ARTIST RESIDENCY

Place: Schools in Vitoria-Gasteiz

A coexistence action between the Teatro Paraíso artistic team and three Early Childhood Education Schools that stand out for their interculturality. The inspirations for this action are the images built from the personal imaginary of both the boys and girls, and the artists.

The performance “In the garden / Lorategian” by the Teatro Paraíso company, acts as a driving force of the residency.

IMAGINING NEW SCENARIOS

FOCUS GROUP

Place: Federico García Lorca Theatre – C.C. Lakua

Participation in this working group is only possible upon personal invitation.
A meeting that proposes an active involvement of the audience in the scenic planning. Encouraging reflection and interaction between those who offer shows (programmers and artists) and those who accompany the children to the theatre (families and teachers). The goal is to imagine future lines of the territory’s scenic programming for a new audience.
