KunArte como Centro de Creación is more effective to the extent that it engages in holistic, integral and interdisciplinary, transversal projects that are sustained over time and that make an impact in improving the life of the arts ecosystem. The artist’s residencies show our commitment to contributing to professionalising the artistic fabric of our local community.
The artists in residence get external guidance for the project both artistically and regarding management and production. In addition, encountering a specialised professional stimulates thought and experimentation about the links between Art, science and technology.
Having access to the KunArte facilities (stage space and workshop) and in industrial space for storage, building and experimentation, and getting a chance to test the ideas they’re working on in front of small children and their families, is a chance to make their creative work more solid and professional.
